As
a pianist, Dan Saunders has performed in recital throughout the world
with many leading singers and instrumentalists including Jessye Norman,
Kiri TeKanawa, Marilyn Horne, Kathleen Battle, Sondra Rodvenowski,
Lauren Flanigan, Neil Rosenschein, Gary Lakes, Tatiana Troyanos, Samuel
Ramey,
Thomas Allen and featured with Violinists Eugene Fodor and Tomoko
Kato.
  Dan has appeared with Jessye Norman at the White House and on national
television with Ms Norman, Dmitri Hvorostovsky, and Gary Lakes.
  He has performed at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, The Kennedy Center,
the Bastille in Paris, San Francisco Opera, Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival,
Tanglewood and
Ravinia Festivals, London's Wigmore Hall and on the South Bank.
  Recordings include Kathleen Battle, Soprano on Sony Video, Estellita with
Violinist Tomoko Kato on the Denon Label and on Newport Classics with Violinist
Eugene
Fodor. During his tenure at the Met, Mr. Saunders has also been heard as harpsichordist
on television’s Live from Lincoln Center and on National Radio for the
Metropolitan Opera Texaco Broadcasts.
